Holiday Fun

It has been a busy holiday season for the Dorn Color family. Over the last month our team has volunteered to help those less fortunate in our community, held a very successful food drive for a local community center, and celebrated the season together.

Our volunteering work began the week before Thanksgiving with two opportunities for our associates to give back to the community. One group of associates volunteered at our neighbor across the street, the Habitat for Humanity ReStore. The ReStore’s mission is to help to provide home furnishings, repair materials, and support for less fortunate home owners in the community. Another group of associates ventured over to the Cleveland Food Bank to help prepare meals for families in need in greater Cleveland. These volunteers packed prepared meals with special attention to a balanced diet.

As part of our holiday party Dorn Color held a food drive that resulted in an overwhelming success. Non-perishable food items, toiletries, and household items were collected for the Lakewood Community Service Center. The end result was three industrial sized boxes filled with goods.

Having given back to the community it was time to celebrate the holiday. On December, 16th the Dorn family gathered at District restaurant in the playhouse square district of downtown, Cleveland for a holiday meal. Associates were treated to carols, a speech from Mr. Hall Dilion and a fantastic meal.

2016 was a very successful year for Dorn Color and we are quite thankful this year. We are looking forward to a happy, healthy, productive and successful 2017.
